Many of
our customers ask where the name "CAMBRIAN"
come from. It's simply a reference to the CAMBRIAN
period in the Paleozoic era, more than 500 million
years ago, where the first plants appeared on earth.
Today, we have four branches around the world :
Montréal, Vancouver, San Diego and Cologne in
Germany. Cambrian first opened its offices in Ottawa.
A few years later the distribution portion was
transfered to Montreal while the administration
aspect remained in Ottawa.
At the end the '80's our Vancouver branch opened
thanks of the hard work of Malik Erven and his
dynamic group. In 1999, Cambrian expanded further to
San Diego, California.
Presently, Cambrian's collective branches have an
impressive buying power. Every week more than 2000
boxes of cut flowers are shipped from South America
to our distribution centers.
